Who in r/skiing is wondering why they don't have a solid community of park skiers? That sub has always been about powder skiing, backcountry touring, and people 30-50 posting pictures of their five year old skiing.

whoops... i mentioned that because i've had multiple friends come to NS from Reddit due to the lack of general competence of their members.

to your question, the number of people wondering has declined when everyone realized r/skiing is a joke.

Fr tho right now I have little interest in skis that have full camber/only early rise rocker. That being said, full rocker isn't really great for anywhere outside the pow (Devastators/Meridians are an exception) and having some energetic rebound is really awesome.

Ah man, the ski manufacturers mess this one up all the time. Tell him to flip them upside down and put some dumbbells or textbooks on the tip and tail. Then leave them sitting there for a few weeks. Heck maybe even a few months. This is a pretty bad case and will require a lot of attention. Might have to just leave them at home unbending until I don’t know maybe May or June? Could be the only way to fix them.

If that doesn’t solve that bend, Al’s Ski Barn might (might!) issue him a refund. He probably paid a good $150 for that ski set after all. Golly... why do all these skis come bent like that!

It’s a bit of a culture created by the lifties, probably a training thing to avoid a court case. I’ve had french lifties just about emergency stop the lift because a chair got too far out the station before the bar went down. Almost creating a problem of somebody falling out the chair.

In fairness, chairs regularly go over serious no-access terrain or large drops in the Alps so I get it for some, but get some chill, no need to give everyone a concussion for it.
