Hey, so you might have seen my other thread. This is another idea that I have.
So what I have noticed, is that threads that have lots of pictures in them, get really messy when people start quoting them.
this thread is just a quick example that I found on NSG

I have 3 ideas that seem pretty good.
1.When you quote someone, who has a picture in their post, the image is NOT automatically quoted. This would mean if you actually did intend to quote the picture itself, you would have to actually do something else on the quote screen (could be a similar process to how you can select certain text)
2.Quoted images do not show up full sized. It would be really cool if just a thumbnail showed up in the quote, with a link to either the full sized image or the original post (the later could get confusing with multi page threads).
3.Images from the original post, on multi page threads, are thumbnails on all pages except for one. Again look at that thread I posted as an example.
What are your guys thoughts on this? I think some of this might be pretty hard to make work, but should definitely be considered for the next generation of NS.
