Hey so I have a macbook pro that I just got, I have been using my computer as an intervelometer to take time lapses with my dslr, assuming that I could use quicktime to make the images into a time lapse.yet to my disappointment I can not.Turns out you can do this using quicktime 7, which is apparently a downgrade, so I tried to download quicktime 7, but it cat install because quicktime x is already installed, so i triied to uninstall it, only to realise that you can not uninstall it, only uninstall the quicktime x player, so now inm stuck with no way to sequence my photos, and no player. its sick.please give me some suggestions on what to do!
short version: Help me sequence my photos!

do you have after effects?import images as a sequence. and then you have it as a individual composition, and can scale export to your liking.

try buying quicktime 7 pro off of apples site. It's not a whole lot of money, and I'm fairly certain that it will let you install it.

SKREEEW THISI just tried to get quicktime pro, but it was like " can not be installed because a newer version of quicktime is already instaled"fuck thisAll I want to do is make a time lapse, and in i movie it auto keys all the pics to it gives you a friggin headachePLEASE HELP ME

do you have final cut? There is a easy way to do this in final cut.
Top left click Final CutThen Click user preferences.Editing Tab.Still Freeze Time durationChange this to one frame.
Then import your assets and drag to the timeline.
If not then I am out of other ways to go about this.

Ya I do but im not home at the moment, and I did an update of the software on my comp, and now for some reason I need the cereal number to open final cut again. which is on the box at my house in canada...im in hawaii for two weeks.. Anyone know how I can get i movie to not automatically key the photos?
