I found a vintage Nikon 50mm lens, should I get it? I don't know much about lenses, but I'm pretty sure I could get an adapter.
 
do you expect people to help you when you don't give any information about it other than its 50mm.

 
what nikon lens specifically? how much is it? is it in decent condition? what kind of camera do you have?
 
Hey. Shut the fuck up. I'm asking a question. You and your brother are literally more hated than me. It's 150 (Including old functioning camera) . I'll get some pics to you tomorrow when I get back to the shop
 
50mm 1.4 would be nice for shooting at night. Post the actual names of everything and someone knowledgable will hopefully chime in.

There's honestly no need for you to send me advice, talking down to me like I'm less than you. Watch me this season buddy, and then we'll see who's talking down to who. Having an intro like eheath was bad on my part, but making your entire video like Down To Film's is kinda copy cat. As I progress in film making, I learn more and more, and my film style may be different than yours, or eheaths, or DTFS, or GavinRudy's. But honestly, talking down to me isn't gonna help you. I'm just gonna let you and the haters know, Splice is here to stay, and I'm not going for a while buddy.

The only reason people hate on you is because you come off as a rich, spoiled little kid. Don't go around posting about your computer, the trips you're going on, etc just go film, have fun, be modest.
 
talking like this isn't going to help you when you haven't dropped a video yet, people take other peoples ideas and expand on them, don't tell me eheath was the first person in the world to use a film reel sound for an intro, he got the idea from somewhere else too, so don't expect you can make a video without being somewhat influenced by the media and arts environment

take criticism positively, or else the hate will continue
