Quick question (whistler bike park)

when does the bike park normally really get going? like, lots of stuff set up and such. just curious, and i'm really lazy so i didn't bother looking around the whis site. thx.
 
really? i heard it opened on may 21, but that's not necissarily legit. I know cypress' bike park isn't gonna open this summer, maybe that's what you were thinking of...
 
Nope. i am definately thinking of whistler. the cypress one was doomed from the beginning, its just sad to see the whistler one shut down as well.
 
No seriously its not opening this year at all, like somehitng liek 10 poepel become paralized last year and now WB is getting sued fatty, so they are just not opening it until attitudes change. 
 
Wow... good timing. I fucked my rear suspension last year at the end of summer, now I'm definitely not replacing it. 400$ that I can go blow on booze instead!

On the flip side, thats still shitty, seeing as W/B was on the forefront for development in this sport. Oh well, 2 steps forward, 1 step back.
 
Wait, you guys are serious? I sincerely hope you're joking, cuz I was really really stoked on finally getting back on some bikes and riding that park. Fuck.
 
Are you fucking kidding me? You're only talking about the boneyeard anyways right? That is RIDICULOUS! I broke an ankle there, so what, I'm not gonna sue the builders. I hate liability, and the legalness of it on this continent. It sucks beyong words to become quadraplegic, no doubts, but I hate how isolated cases ruin it for everyone. And quadraplegics can still rip the bike park on their crazy machines.
