Quick itunes question

I'm new with the ipod and itunes thing and have a quick question. When I import songs from a cd they go directly to the "library." This wouldn't be a big deal but now I have several tracks in the library now titled 01, 02, 03, etc. How can I import a cd into a new playlist and not into the general library?

you cannot. as soon as you enter a song into itunes, it goes into THe big library. then you might put songs in a playlist, but you have to keep them in THe playlist.

you can't do that. they have to go into the library. but you can type in every song's name or if you are connected to the internet it will do an auto cd lookup and put the song names in for you
