finally finished my thing and i tried to hit it and its just a tad not enough speed. i have the home depot outdoor carpet turf stuff and a smooth transition and good dropin and such. the carpets been sprinkled wet but not soaked. so my question is should i like soak the carpet completely to get more speed? and im going to head to walmart soon so does putting detergent or soap on it really help? what should i do just to litterally get a tiny bit more speed? like i get to the top of the lip with some pop but dont get enough speed to corectly get on the rail to grease

definitely soak and suds down the ramp and you'll definitely get the speed you need

don't bother with soap, it's annoying because it gets wasted quickly. instead, get some construction fencing and lay it over the drop in, but not the jump. it will give you plenty of speed, but you will have no edge so you have to leave it off of the jump.

also, turf is slower when you first buy it for some reason. it always seems to me like i have to "break in" the turf and after a while it picks up speed. maybe something to do with the amount of wax on your skis? idk. good luck

get the orange construction fencing and lay like 3 or 4 layers of that on top... but not on the jump because u need an edge to spin onto the rail

and usually turf does need to be broken in. oh and soak it
