Quick 4th of July Photo montage video - take a look!

I've found few places better to spend the 4th of July than Ouray, CO (near Telluride). I headed back this summer with a few friends, and wanted to document the trip. What resulted was this video comprised entirely of all the photos - in chronological order. I've been wanting to make a video like this for some time now, and decided to experiment over the fourth.

I hope you enjoy, and I always appreciate feedback and critiques.

Hope this embed works...

That was really cool, I was actually expecting a slideshow to a song but that was so much more!Song fitted really well and gave off a really nice feel to the video.

You must've taken a shitload of pictures that day! haha

Thank you! I was/am a little unsure of the wording. To me, it's not a time lapse per se, but it is entirely comprised of stills. Definitely took a ton of photos!

Thanks for watching.

wow i really really enjoyed that. it felt like a really cool POV that told a really interesting story. the star timelapse in the middle was also very impressive.

i did something very similar to this with some photos i took while tailgating for the goo goo dolls concert a week or two ago...id post it but it couldnt hold a candle to this video

Sorry what I meant was, before I started the video I was expecting an iPhoto created slideshow with the Ken Burns effect....but was more than pleasantly surprised when it played and how awesome it was!

I think I'm going to try one of these with skiing, like the Jossi Wells stop motion edit.

Anti_Steeze : thanks for the kind words, and glad you liked it! Throw your video up I'd love to check it out.

followCam : no worries, I'm not totally sure how to word the title, but happy to hear you dug it.

very cool stuff! I did a trip through there (new mexico, SW colorado, utah back to oregon) and loved it. such a cool area. A cool take on a "vacation video." I have a trip to the phillipines coming up and will definitely keep this idea in mind while putting a trip video together.
