Questoions about top of box sheet plastic

Ok im making this 25 ft long box thats 1/2 a foot wide and i cant fine any sheet plastic at the local stores and shit so i was wonderin if someone who knows what kind of plastic to use and where to get it

 
i'm pretty sure real boxes use lecsan (possibly spelled lexan). you can buy it at home depot, but I'm not sure if they'll have it in the size you need.

 
my box is really slow, we used some wierd plastic called like Cloexen 2000
