1st of all i was hopping to go out there around may 10 and stay till about the 28th my questions are, is there any type of spring pass that is cheaper to get than buying lift tickets (not on their site) and how warmish is it usually that time of year like could i camp out in a tent or a car for during that time

thanks guys

yea... not sure about tickets but camping out there during may is the way to go, im not sure where, like mammoth high plains or something, lenzner might know.

there is a spring pass but i think its like 350 bucks. if you know a high schoolers there than you can get tickets with their id for way cheap on most days

Alpine sick, but there's no word on what they will do to the prices of spring passes this year. Mammoth typically stays open much longer as well.

I hope they keep the spring passes cheap like they did in 06.. I took my High School finals a week early just to move there for a month...

At the end of the year at Alpine they might close down the park before the rest of the resort closes for photoshoots, ect... May is a good time to camp at Mammoth, it still gets pretty cold at night, so bring good sleeping bags, and blankets. Depending on where you camp, don't leave your tent out, because it will blow away from the afternoon/evening winds, even with some weight in it.

wtf kinda high school did u go to i wish i coulda done that...wait didnt u have to go back for grad?

Haha. I had like 4 classes, and really only 2 finals... I convinced my teachers to let me do a harder final (which was easy anyway) in order to be out early...

and Grad was a one day thing..
