Questions about making a jibyard style jump

I dont know if its realistic or not, but id be stoked if i could some friends to pitch money in, and make a jump like the one in the Jibyard, in Ogden Utah. Ive never been to the jibyard, if you dont know what im talking about check it out: https://newschoolers.com/web/content/viewvideo/id/323443/search_string/jibyard/

I dont think itd be hard to make an outdoor one... so heres my questions....

1.) How deep would the foam pit have to be so you survive?. (id think at least 3 and a half)

2.) What material is the jump itself made out of? i see the rollers for the drop in.

3.) Any idea where id go about buying the rollers... i might pm the owner of the jibyard for this.

Any thoughts or advice would be appricated. Once again, i dont know if this is realistic, or how expensive id be if 10-20 kids pitched in, it could be dope. I have a friend who i think making the drop in off the roof of a building not attached to his house would be perfect. im going to ask him once i figure more out haha.

oh, and since i dont want to spend tons of money, i was going to use foam from mattress people were getting rid of, as well as packaging foam i can get for free, ect. itd be pretty ghetto, but i think itd be legit

sorry about tripple post... but instead of rollers i could just make a ladder style drop in with pvc rollers over the wood maybe...

i was thinking for the pit, you could layer of old tire on bottom, followed by old mattresses, followed by random foam such as from places that remove carpet, get there old under carpet foam, maybe shred some of it. and then a little soft foam on top would do the trick id think.

still dont know what the jump could be made out of.... any ideas?

matresses and tires would have to take up less than a third of the dumpster. any more and the amount of foam you put in would not be able to absorb the impact without it hurting you. so:

soft foam - 10%

under carpet foam - 20%

denser scraps of foam from factories - 40%

matresses - 20%

tires - 10%

if you want an idea, watch the Mythbusters episode where they jump off the roof into a dumpster

thanks, + karma to everyone.

and im still wondering what in the world the jump itself could be made out of.

i found the owners newschoolers account, but he hasnt signed in the last 30 days... so i doubt id get an asnwer fast that way. ill try to find it on their site or something.

i built my own rollers for a drop in and they worked really well. There are some pictures in the drop in thread or in my profile.

get some velcro so that you can velcro the tarp over the foam pit when it rains
and its pretty easy just to build a would frame/box/pen to hold the foam in, i have built one for frame/box/pen in a construction project that is easy to build
the only problem i think there is is to get enough speedbut this sounds really sick if you can build it

It would have been awesome, thanks for all the advice! the place i thought it would be douable is outta the question now unfortuently, +karma anyways
