Questions about Crystal Mountain, WA

Yo friends, I'm flying into Seattle around march 16th to hit the Freeride World Qualifier at Crystal Mountain. Looking for advice on places to stay nearby, cheapest way to get from Seattle to Crystal, and wondering if anyone has any comp tickets they would be willing to share?? Cheers!

You're welcome to crash at my crib? I live about 2 hours away, but I go up 3-4 times a week. If not I recommend renting a van for the weekend and bring a sleeping bag, then find some pillows to ductape over the windows to insulate. I usually car camp every weekend there. They say no overnight camping but a bunch of people do it and staff told me they dont actually care.

They offer a free shuttle from enumclaw to the mountain. (Roughly 50 minutes away depending on traffic). I recommend downloading their app because that will have more info about this kind of thing.

edit: you may or may not already know this, but you have to buy your tickets in advance online if you plan on skiing on the weekends

B lot, but you gotta park in the very front where all the RV people park their cars so you kinda just blend in. I brought up a "no parking/Do not block" sign at the beginning of the season and put it up front next to this light pole, so I've always been guaranteed a spot up front on busy days.

I would look for an Airbnb in Enumclaw, there is some cheap stuff, shuttle to the mountain too

The farther away that you stay the more options and night life you will have. You might be able to find a cabin to stay in close to the ski area, but there’s not like a place to get food or anything so pack in pack out. Greenwater is like a half hour away, little depressed old logging town along the highway they might have an inn or something I can’t remember. Enumclaw is like the closest real town with like a grocery store and stuff- still pretty rural. From there you can go north to Issaquah or out maple valley toward Renton, Bellevue and eventually Seattle.
