no, absolutly not. Wait till the kids atleast 2. You can take him/her out in the snow though. Hopefully just being out there influences it for the future.
We started teaching my sister when she was right at a year old we had a little vest with a leash it took a lot of time to teach her but she got a hang of it quick now she is freakin amazing skier at 9 years old.
