Question on new skis

I'm going to buy new skis in a month or so and I'm still not sure what model to buy. I'm 6'1, 165 lbs and I ride mostly park (85%) and groomers, moguls, woods (15%) because I live on the east coast. I've considered these models:

All 07 skis

-Trouble Makers

-Scratch FS WRS

-Mik D's pro model

-Stl's

-AR6

-T-Hall

Your opinion will be greatly appreciated

Ive skiid the trouble makers and really liked them. UNfortunately i havent skiid any of the others, so i can't say on anything else. but the tms were solid for me as a park ski

AR6's seem like sick skis this year and i had t-hall this year and they skied like shit everywhere besides the park.

^ yep i agree, trouble makers are sick. although you might be a bit big for them definelty try them out. @ 5'8 and 180 lbs they were fine for me.

My brother has the TM, and he likes them alot, even though he is to heavy for them, but seeing as your not as heavy as him, the tm's would probably be money

i really like the tm's a lot they are a really sick ski to ride outside of the park as well as in the park they are even better. this year they have reinforced edges so with east coast you'll probably be hitting more rail than anything so you may want to consider that.

The Tm's seem like great skis but I think that they aren't very wide with 78 in width....are hey going to perform well in occasional east coast pow or should i take something wider....i'm maybe going to go on a ski trip this winter (in the west or in the alps) and i dont think the TM will perform really well over there and like I mentionned above, I have added the ninthward LT to my list and I would like to have some comments on those.

personally, i dont think that you should base your chioce of ski on where your going for a holiday. If your going to be skiing the majority of the year on the east coast..go with tm's, or the scratches. The scratches are always a solid ski, but far to stiff for me. i think that the tm's flex would be great with your size, but it all depends..both are amazing skis, so whichever you like better, or can get cheaper, go for it!

I wasnt only basing the tms on the fact thati m going to ski somewhere on holiday its just that im not sure if they are wide enough for all around skiing around the mountain when there is occassional EC pow

The TMs do just fine in the ocassional powder that the east coast gets. The only thing I find negative about the TM is the tips are a little softer than I like. I don't like the chatter when flying through a tight tree section, but they do really well on the groomers and do pretty well in the moguls for a twin tip.

the ar6's are pretty soft along with the thalls and i dont think those two could stand up to the east coast ice but i skied the scratches and theyre sick for most everything so i'd go with them
