Question for those who have experience with Halifax and Dalhousie University.

So I was just accepted into the Architecture program at Dal, and was wondering if there was anyone who has lived/lives in Halifax and/or who has info on the school (and architecture there!)
I have put a great deal of research into this and have a good idea of the city and the school, BUT some firsthand accounts from anyone here would be great!Thanks a ton!

Dalhousie? Really? I'm pretty sure that's a Dutch name linked to my ancestors. Cool. No way an english name is spelled like that. It's probably a degenartion of my surname.

My brothers going to st. f.x for 2 years and dal for 2 years for engineering (not sure what kind of engineering)
