Question for Park City peeps

How long does it take to drive from PC to Snowbird, in the winter? On like a totally clear whether day, and also if its like a storm. Is it a pain in the ass to be skiing alta 3-4 days a week if you live in PC?

yes it's a pain in the ass to drive down there, especially w/gas prices

Im not gonna lie... i was there in march and I really didnt think the drive was too bad

dude it really depends on how into it you are. some people would do it but it is about an hour, maybe more. if your thinking 3 or 4 days at alta i would just live in salt lake

i wouldnt say an hour. On a clear day i would say around 45 minutes if you speed a little

even if you started at kimble junction it sucks man. 45 mintues minimum driving, add on the time it takes you to park, get your shit on and get to the lift line, you're not skiing for a while. really the only way to ski alta/bird regulurly is to live in slc.. besides, slc is cheaper anyway..
