Question for denver skiers.......

So basicely I live in Ontario and the mountains here have been relying on the ski/snowboard community to make and setup features for the past like 8 years, and the community is getting kind of tired of doing all this work with nothing in return. I was looking at some vids/articles about Ruby Hill railyard in Denver, and something like this seems like a great alternative.

So I have some questions for denver skiers about how the ruby hill rail yard works

-Who funds the place? (insurance, snowmaking, jibs, etc.)

-I noticed how all the jibs at the rail yard are in perfect condition with no graffiti of any sort, and no barriers around the place except construction fence. How do you guys keep out vandals/thieves?

We have a large arsenal of jibs in the community here, (as I was saying we have been making all the rails for the resorts for the past 8 years.) So we basicely just need a place to set-up.

Any logistics I am missing here NS?

I think it's funded by the city and Winter Park ski area. As far as the graffiti issue, it is kinda odd, considering there are so many bums around there...

winter park funds it, they usually have a "park crew" that comes around(not sure how often) and fixes the take offs and such. It's kinda hidden in this big park area but not really sure how they keep out vandals.

The city of Denver funds some it, but I believe Winter Park is the big sponsor. They donate all of the jibs for it and I think they make the snow for it. Christy Sports donates rental equipment for free to help people out who can't afford to rent/purchase gear.

As for vandals...there is absolutely no issue. Ruby Hill is setup in a nice, quiet park that has a surrounding neighborhood. There wouldn't really be much to tag there to be honest and I don't think the community would let that shit slide.
