Question bout colleges/skiing. help me out!

So im headed to SLC the 14th-17th and whats the deal with taking a tour at U of U. Can I do that on thursday or friday? Any other colleges to look at the other day?
Also how long is canyons open till im planning on skiing there on saturday and sunday. Anyway to get cheap passes as well?

My personal opinion is don't take the the tour of the U through the University. Pick up a map and do it yourself. The tours look boring as hell, I always seeing them in the library lecturing on the history of it.
 
and about cheap passes: Liftopia might have some deals check them out. Any pass holder at the Canyons gets three free passes, if you know anyone or maybe can buy one off of someone? and I think someone is selling in this regional forum 45 dollar Canyons passes. You can also go to most stores and gas stations and get like 10 bucks off.
 
Westminster's nice, specializes in aviation and nursing pre-med shit but there is a decent business school. its pretty liberal arts and easy to get classes two days a week or all nights in the spring semester so you can ride a ton... canyons prolly is your best bet for spring park riding, pretty ill lately... kid above me set you up with tickets...
Your schools if you want too, tour the wasatch and im sure the schools won't really matter too much anymore
 
for like 95% of possible majors I would say the U is better and cheaper. Westminster is definitely a smaller school though all around so if you are one of those people who consider the small school feel (small classes, knowing most of your class mates, etc., better relationships with your professors, etc.) important it'd be worth checking out.

Canyons is open till the 17th so you're in luck there, like someone else said they give a few vouchers out to all pass holders so you should post a WTB thing in the regionals for that. Most people seem to be selling theirs for around $40-50 which is a whole lot better than the $82 you'd pay at the mountain or I think $60something at shops.
