Question about macbook pro

my brother want to get a new computer, and he wants the MBP with 2.5ghz and 2g RAM, or the 2.4ghz with 4g RAM. He wants to know what will be best/faster?...i dont think he needs that much power, cuz all hes gonna do on it is type papers and occasionally mix techno, and use photoshop, along with the usual bangbros. With what hes gonna be using his computer for will the 2.4ghz with 2g RAM be enough power or does he have to blow an extra 500 bucks on 4g and 2.5ghz?

If that is all he will be doing then save the money and get the 2.4 and 2 gigs. There is not that much of a difference between 2.4 and 2.5. And also no need to get 4 gigs of ram. I have 2.4 ghz and 2 gigs of ramon my MBP and it super fast. I use Final Cut Express, Aperture, and other powerful programs without any glitches. I often have multiple programs running at once and see no lagging of the computer. Don't waste the money to upgrade.

just get the base model then you can upgrade the ram and core for a lot cheaper than mac offers it to you for somewhere else.
