Question about lizzies

hey if i went from the 07-08 dumont which weighs 1600 per ski..would i feel a difference if i bought lizzies and they were 2220 per ski?

well thats almost 150% heavier, so im sure you would feel it. but you would probably also get used to it

I think you should be fine. I went from skiing 2 years on 159 k2 silencers to this year getting 174 k2 extremes and 179 hellbents,and im around 5'9 and it took some getting use to but i think youlll be fine for sure.

ya i have the hell bents and they grind fine on rails and boxes so you should be fine if you get the lizzies it might take a day or two to get use to them but go for it

2 things:first off, 6'1" is pretty tall for lizzies since they are only 172s.....im 5'7" and i wish they were a little biggersecond, going from a park specific ski like the dumonts, to something like the lizzies with a 110mm waist, you are going to feel a difference in skiing no matter what the weight difference between skis is.thats my 2 cents.

one thing is though that its not really how tall you are for skis, its how much you weigh. but lizzies are the sickest skis ever

i think they would be too short and too soft for you.

I am roughly the same size as you. I try and find the biggest skis that they make. A 172 ski is practically a snowblade, not to mention you look like a fucking goon on the hill with little skis.
