Question about lexan...

alright so a friend and i are building a box - chose lexan for the top sheet - i looked at the lexan and it looks wicked thin, .93 something blah blah of an inch - ||

bah it cut of my post - alright so i was wondering if its suppose to be really thin or not...

and another question i had was about metal coping.. should we use round bar or the 90 degree corner stuff

go with HDPE, it's a lot cheaper. You can get a 2x8 sheet (or is it 2x4, but im pretty sure its 2x8) that's 1/4" thick for only like 22 bucks or something like that. About 30 w/ shipping

my box has lexan 1/4 inch thick. i wouldn't recomend going any thinner b/c than it becomes harder to countersink.

where can you get HDPE, i checked at home depot and they didnt have any, would a specialty building materials place have it?
