Question about A Basin

Does it suck?I enjoy hitting enormous park jumps and I dont give a shit about rails. I also enjoy sunshine, beer, and women. Im going to be in the area for a week and will be going to Breck, keystone, copper and vail.. is it worth it to even try A-Basin?
 
You're not going to find huge jumps there - what you will find is an uber chill parking lot filled with people drinking and BBQing and that is close enough to walk to the lifts.

From there you get a fun, challenging mountain to ski and a killer base lodge with good beer deals and bloody mary's that come with bacon.

My suggestion - ski keystone and bail out around 2/3 for some fun at A Basin as the day winds down.
 
keystone jumps all morning

head to abay at like 12 or 1

get drunk eat great BBQ on the "beach" (closest parking spots to lift even though they are all close)

drive home

eat dinner

shower

party
 
you really should be on ns right now....

but yes a-basin is dope, especially on a good year when you can ski pali with out 50 gouges in your skis.
 
yeah, I haven't even bothered going since the turbo chutes aren't open. I was really hoping on a good snow year, I wanted to hit Kong.
 
I need to put getting a spot on the beach on my bucket list. Those guys are so on point, setting up at 7:30.
 
It's really not that difficult, except for the really busy spring days where the make you reserve it.

Still disappointed nobody liked my Arrowhead comment.
