Queer, trans, nonbinary shredders on NS?

Is it gay to accidentally penetrate your male friend when spooning for warmth? You know, like in a survival situation.

Also when cults were a thing there used to be a pretty cool gay skier cult but thats been dead since like 2011 like most of the cults.

There's plenty of gay skiers put there. Also plenty of homophobic doucher that say "why do people make a big deal out of it" yet are the ones saying homophobic/racist things on the regular.

It's 2020, it shouldn't matter but it still does. It matter a lot less though.

Also a big reason for that is visibility, which goes against the doucher "why do people talk about it" vibe. If you didn't know any good skier or your friends were gay it'd be way easier to be an ass on the subject and say cringey things.

Also gotta love the straight guys that talk a bunch of shit, nothing but pussy etc, probably struggle to get laid, but then you're making a big deal out of it if you're like "yo im gay".

Idk it's just brapping around on the mountain. Go fast take chances, who the fuck care. Yolo and stuff.

I thought all cults were blown up?

I can’t find them anymore

They exist still apparently. I was just check some threads. Nobody's posted in any of them in years though.

Gay cult hasnt been active for a decade. Was cool talking to fellow nsers for a few years though.

The cults in general were pretty sweet but forums have died off enough in general niche cults and regionals were ultra doomed.

Sure there are some forums like redit but gone are the days of there being tons of different forums about anything and everything.

Idk if it was a better time, just a different time.

How about shemale Lia Thomas ruining the women's NCAA swimming championship? Great job tranzez!

my guess is you get your talking points from Russian bots or Ahmet

1. Celebrating a victory for a trans sibling.

2. Every transphobic argument you can make about this is already debunked. It's honestly pathetic that you can't even do a little research to understand how trans women's athletic accomplishments are valid.

3. It makes me so sad that this community is like this. Like my forum post has nothing to do with you. It's a call out so that folks who are excluded, misunderstood, harassed, and targeted by violence have a place to find community. Now the people this thread is actually for have to deal with you and a dozen other dudes invalidating their existence, hate-fetishizing their bodies, and just generally deciding that your shitty ignorant humor matters more than our wellbeing.

Bruh, you haven't proved one thing.

Just a reminder to all the straight dudes that decided it was their place to drop smoothbrain shitposts all over this thread: This is not here for you. This thread is explicitly for LGBTQ+ folks to find community, and allies to show some love and support. If you aren't here for one of those two things, You should definitely shut the fuck up and let queer people have their own spaces. Maybe you'll learn something!

Just join a cult...... ohhhhh right, NS got rid of those because they're anti-trans. I forgot. Welp, sorry bud.

This right here is why people have a hard time with you guys/girls/whatever the hell you go by these days. Y’all are such a tiny blip on the percentage scale yet you try to get everyone to follow by your rules and stipulations.

I got no problems with the lgtqb community.. however if I were a biological woman competing against a biological man.. I’d be fucking furious. How is that fair at all?? Men coming into my sport as “woman” and smashing previous records and winning every comp. ridiculous!

trans MTF need their own separate competition or to just accept that they have an extremely unfair advantage and shouldn’t compete in that sport anymore. I’m looking at you lia Thomas

all of these replies about "smashing records" and other ways to insinuate that trans athletes are dominating the competitive field are not founded in reality. it's pathetic how many stupid rhetorical questions are lazily and offhandedly posed to the LGBTQ2IA+ community by people who seem to have no concept of what they're talking/asking about and seemingly no genuine desire to actually understand.

Queer newschoolers: fuck these dense nerds, be you!

Do you not know this shit happening or something? You sound like a complete fucking idiot. You probably think a trans woman winning a women's division is a victory ffs.

Imagine doing this in real life. Like imagine we are all at a house party, and the queer kids have a sign on on one bedroom that says "lgbtq+ meeting space". There's like 10 queer people in there having a good time, and then like 30 straight frat bros burst in yelling that trans women shouldn't exist and calling us audacious for putting our little sign on the one little door in the whole house.

I completely understand you're non binary but stop being such a god damned pussy.

Oh no, a forum on the internet is bothering you? Put away your fucking smartphone and go the fuck outside. Problem solved.

2: indigenous 2-spirit person. Have existed and been accepted by their communities for thousands of years.

I: intersection. Probably the easiest one for transphobes to understand, since you attach your entire personality and identity to what's between your legs. A person with biologically non-binary genitals or other phenotypic expressions.

A: asexual. People who don't feel sexual or romantic attraction. Not to be confused with Every woman you've ever talked to, that just a you thing bud.

+: holding space for what hasn't been named and names that haven't been discovered yet, because we are adaptable and compassionate.

Pretty simple but if you can't handle an acronym I guess there's nothing you can do about that.

I think people would be more understanding if you weren't such an entitled fucking prick. Regardless of your orientation, you fucking suck.

Two Spirit Does Not Indicate Colonized Boxed Definitions of "L", "G", "B", "T" or "Q"

We can be all of these, or none of these. A western mindset categorizes based on standards of ‘norm’ and ‘other’ in a kyriarchal (to rule or dominate) type structure. This mindset imposes a series of boxes to fit into (you're either gay, you're a lesbian, etc.) rather than being comfortable with gender fluidity, Two Spirit acknowledges the continuum of gender identity and expression.
https://indiancountrytoday.com/archive/8-misconceptions-things-know-two-spirit-people

Seeing the lgbtq people grab hold of this term and run with it not knowing what it really means is annoying.

David Foster Wallace wrote a great piece once called "this is water." I think the idea of "this is water" is relevant to conceptualizing affinity spaces and why they upset straight white people. I have belonged to affinity spaces for queer people and BIPOC and got a great deal out of them. They are the only places where I have felt a kinship and belonging due to the group makeup that I have never experienced in any outdoor/skiing space.

In "this is water," two fish are swimming around in a body of water. One fish says to the other, "how's the water?" and the other fish responds, "what the hell is water?" The fish is surrounded by water its whole life since birth and therefore has no concept of what it is because it is such a fundamentally assumed part of its existence. "the most obvious and important realities are often the hardest to see and talk about." The second fish in the story doesn't know what water is the same way that cis-straight white people don't understand that their world-at-large is, statistically, gender/sexuality/racial affinity spaces for them. It is understandable that there is backlash from their camp about others creating spaces where they can enjoy "water," but it is not acceptable that there is backlash when that backlash comes from a much larger and persistent body of "water."

WRONG! Its now LGBTQQIP2SAA

Ugh, I just like CAN'T with all you self-hating transphobes out there. You better educate yourself or else you might micro trigger someone in a designated safe space and that's like TERRIBLE.

I only listened to it once, but i remember not liking "this is water".

Seemed pretty overrated. Good enough speech for a graduation or whatever but seemed to lack substance. For how long it was and how it seemed like it was some profound bit of knowledge I thought it was pretty meh.

Not going to kill 10 min of my life to confirm or deny that take though. Just my opinion.

Love this analogy.
