many people gonna be living in queenstown this season?

I'm gonna be there form mid to late june onwards I think
 
yea man, I'm gonna be living in arrowtown, just down the road. Not sure what kinda job I'll be doing yet but I've gotta get my arse into gear and apply for some jobs on the mountain, theres a few places I've had my eye on in town as well. I gotta do something though cause I just told my manager today that I'm finishing up before the winter haha
 
All I know of Arrowtown is that they produce quality pies! Well good luck finding a job dude, sure I'll see you up the hill sometime!
 
5 weeks to go until I touch down in Qtown, and Remarks is already white, stoked!

I am going to devour me a steak and cheese pie and a Speights as soon as I touch down, then head to Buffs to get rowdy (or possibly pass out from jetlag and tiredness from the 30 hour flight, we'll see how it goes!) :)
 
yea im heading over for my first season and so stoked... probably at the remarks too. what are the best places in town for nightlife? bars and stuff?
 
Well, there are loads, all with their different styles and people who go there, some have more backpackers, some have more aussie tourists, some have more 'locals'. I tend to go to the ones that give NZski employees discounts. So that means Revolver, Frasers, Buffalos, then for later on I like Barup, Tardis, Skybar and the Bunker and the underground club one that I can't remember the name. I wasn't there last year though so things have prob changed, especially as all the bars now close at 4 or 5. A few used to be open until 7.
 
Yes, and it apparently got even better last year. Shit pipe, but good rails and good sized jumps. Other than the pipe, I prefer it to Cardrona, the park crew works a lot harder maintaining stuff. SP is better, but may be having financial issues this year.
 
cheers for the info. im trying to decide whether or not to get a snow park park pass before season starts aswell but i know you get discount day passes with a season pass for remarkablesetc. not sure if i would go to snow park enough for it to be worth it
