Px14 forward pressure

when I'm getting into my px14s they are super stiff. to the point where i get my toe in the toe piece and have to grab and pull up on the heel while pushing my foot down just to get in. is it just a case of the forward pressure being out of whack? i know they'll never have a crisp click like markers or tyrolias but this is ridiculous.

Do you know how to check the forward pressure? If you are not sure take them to a shop and have someone take a look at your boots in the bindings.

Look at your boot when you are clicking in, my friend had this same problem for a while and found out that the heel cup part of the binding was skinnier than his boot making it difficult to click into, that is until the corners wore down a bit (which probably isn't the safest thing).

But if that isn't the case then yes, it would probably be your forward pressure.

^it all started after a remount (using same boot/ binding combo on previous skis with no issue). i think the shop i went to just wasn't very good.

We'll take them back an have them recheck the bindings. Or if you want take them to a different shop but they may charge you to set them.
