How much of a difference does the "lifter" model make. Do people like or not like it?

umm, ok, lifters don't make a huge difference but, the main thing they take away from is feel of the ski and direct control. lifters are made for quickness edge to edge by giving you leverage over the ski. the look lifters aren't that big usually, so you can still use them without too much affect to your skiing, what you have to watch out for is those huge ass lfters that atomic and marker like to use, and you also see on some binding systems and demo bindings.
