PX12-demos vs griffons is it worth it to change?

I cant decide if its really worth changing but I do know the px12 demos weigh about 2 lbs heavier or 1 lb per binding. I ski 60% rails 30% jumps and 10% all mountain so im thinking it would make a huge difference with swing weight. Would this change make switch ups and 270 on off easier?

i have honestly heard that griffons suck... but maybe i'm wrong.
i spent the extra money to get jesters, and i haven't looked back once

Yea your a little wrong there.

Griffons and Jesters perform exactly the same, same design, same technology, almost the exact same binding. Just people like metal more then composite, but in all honesty most people dont need a 16 din either. And if your thinking youll feel more "safe" with a jester,i honestly wouldnt feel any different being on my griffons then on jesters.

griffons rock and if you have the money go for it but you probably wont notice a huge difference besides a being a little lighter

I bought my anthems with the demo bindings on them and just learned switch ups but broke a brake so I was thinking the lighter griffons would help with switch ups but i guess it wont make a noticeable difference?

The difference in weight would be under 1 lb probably.

When you consider that your leg muscles are some of the strongest muscles in your body, do you think it's really going to matter?

yea I actually thought it would make a difference but thanks for saving me about $180 i wont buy them now and i will just replace the brake. +K

Yea i know they work great because i have ridden a friends pair and I liked them but I was wondering if the 1lb difference in each binding and the reduced sing weight was worth the extra cost.

If / when the PX 12's break or get damaged to the point repairing them is expensive, then by all means consider going for the griffon. Who knows, by then you might want to consider going up to the Jesters if your skiing progresses.
