So i'm trying to decide between a CoreUPT Candide POW or a line elizabeth. i would center mount both of em. basically gunna use them for park, pow, and everything in between. Jut curious to hear what anyone has to say about either of them from an owners perspective or just someone who knows alot.
Thanks guys

height weight skiing ability would help. lizzies are the best ski i've ever owned. they are a bomb pow ski for me and i can charge into almost anything with em. but they are soft enough for me to butter like crazy and hold an edge like no other. plus they are light enough for me to spin and flip em pretty easily. but i'm 5'2" 115 pounds. my friend is 6' 225 and they were way too soft for him.

5'8 155 lb. and i shred pretty hard, plz more feedback people. and im gunna throw line blends in the mix too

If your going to use it as your only ski I would go with the blend. It has a good size waist to use all over the mountain with traditional camber which helps on the groomers, and early rise in the tip and tail for pow days. They are pretty much able to handle any condition fairly well.

okay so i can really only give you a review on the lizzies. but here's what they are, a fat park ski. they carve really really well. the eliptical sidecut is sooooooooooo much fun. these skis made carving fun lol. although i still like to straightline stuff a lot. i haven't washed an edge on groomers yet. they even hook up well on ice. but they are soft. i've only had mine for three days but at 5'2" and 115 pounds i can do butter three's and stuff really easily. they swing weight isn't much worse than my punx in a 164. so far these are the best one ski quiver i've ever ridden. i had some 06-07 chronic blends in a 165 and they were a great one ski quiver. but not as good as the lizzies. i would say that at your height and weight you'll be about the biggest guy that would want to charge hard on them. the skis are soft. if you aren't smooth and have a lot of backseat landings or leaned out switch landings you're going to wish you had a stiffer ski. but i've hucked a couple 20 foot cliffs and launched about 40 or 50 feet down a diamond off a cattrack and they were surprisingly stable. but i did slip a tail once and end up backseat and they didn't offer much stability on a landing like that. but i was landing on super hardpacked snow. basically bluegroove lol. the 09 lizzies have a little early rise if i'm not mistaken. i bought these used so it could just be the camber being ridden out of the ski. but they are awesome. i even bought a set of 10's so i have a set to mount up after i kill my 09's.
if the blends are similar to the 06-07 blends you'll be looking at a medium stiff ski with great edge hookup. they are super versatile and absolutely kill it. they aren't as versatile as the lizzies but they are fun. they are a little heavy. i had trouble with 5's on them. just cuz i'm not very big. and back in 07 i was all of 4'11" and 90 pounds. lol. but they were fun. they didn't do well in pow (not that wide and mounted up true center) but they got by better than my 169 fugatives. they were a fun ski and better for charging through crud and choppy crap and held up better to straighlining moguled out diamonds and and speed in general. i could FLY on those things. they were super stable at speed. but they were pretty stiff for me and pretty unforgiving. but keep in mind those were the 06-07 blends. someone can chime in on the new models but i think that they are pretty similar. my friend who is 6' and 225 pounds loves his blends from this year. he says they are a little soft. but at his size and with the way he skis anything short of a gs ski is going to be "a little soft" but he said they are considerably stiffer than the lizzies and he prefers them for everything except for powder.

The blends are pretty new this year, and I also think that they are softer , but couldn't go wrong with either the blends or lizzies, both are sick skis for sure.

another question, im pretty much convinced i want to go with the lizzies but the only thing thats holding me back is that i havent had a ski this wide before, up until now ive been using my park skis for powder which just straight up sucks. obviously im not concerned about the width in the pow but am i gunna get totally thrown off in the park? or is it just gunna take some time getting used to? im not the kid throwing 900's and 1080's and 450's off of rails but is it gunna hurt my maneuverability?
i can't thank you enough, i didn't expect anyone to be so helpful

so i'm pretty small. i really don't think you will have an issue. these things carve better than my fujatives and my punx. i've got a racing background so i love laying into a hard carve and not having to worry about losing an edge. they carve off lips well too. the sidecut is predictable and smooth. they don't hook switch and are surprisingly forgiving. we don't have any jumps up in the park at my mtn yet but i've already thrown a few backflips, fronts, three's, switch threes, and butter threes. i was getting three's and switch threes off a roller with a bump on top for a lip. probably going about ten feet out. so they really spin pretty well. i was surprised at how much i like these skis. i'm sure i'll have no problems with 7's over 40 foot kickers on these skis. they really spin well. i need to ride them more in park, but i'm considering getting rid of my park skis. at your size, i really don't think you will have a problem with them. but they will be bigger than your skis so they'll take some getting used to. but i love them for jibs and stuff like that. they are super fun on rails too cuz they are so wide and stable. i do struggle with 270's onto rails with them but i really suck at rails lol. but they are super stable and with some practice i really think they'll be a lot of fun in the park and i know they are epic all over the mountain.
