PVC Rails...

So I have 5 PVC rails:

-a triple bar (basically a box)

-a double bar

-3 urban style rails (up, flat, and down)

The urban rails have held up perfectly fine but, the double and triple bar have both cracked about 3 times each. Anyone have any suggestions on how to keep them from cracking. Some other than PVC by any chance?

Smaller diameter PVC might help. You could also get thicker PVC, that would make them stronger. Don't use them in extreme cold, that's when they're brittle

If you buy your pipe from the Homeless Despot or any similar place, look at the lettering on the outside of the pipe. Look for pipe that is actually pressure rated. The higher the "schedule" of the pipe the thicker the wall. For example a pipe may have "SCH 40" printed on it. I have used schedule 40 (usually the thinnest wall of actually pressure-rated pvc pipe) in below zero temps many times and it has not cracked or shattered. There is a big difference between pressure rated pvc pipe and random plastic tubing.
