PVC or Metal rails.

Pvc slides pretty good and doesnt damage skis as bad but metal isnt as soft so it slides better

If it's homemade, PVC is super easy to build with and still slides really well. If it's not slick enough, you can always add soap and water. PVC is also less hard on your skis.

Agree! And, I believed it's more affordable or lesser expensive than the metal one.

pvc wins in almost every department if you're using it for a personal setup, especially the big wide ones, great for progression. unless you're trying broken slides or other smiler tricks, metal rails really aren't necessary

Just go for a cheap PVC pipe it's much cheaper, and is so easy to make. I have a metal and pvc pipe and I like pvc much better.
