PVC/ HDPE rainbow?

Will this work? I know that pvc slides well, but I am really worried about my edges digging in on the up part... also it's HDPE so really slippery but also kinda soft

its possible, ive seen it before, along with c rails and u rails. check build a jib, im sure theres more info there.

I thought the same thing would happen on a cannon rail, but I've had that setup quite a bunch and it slid up just fine. It was set pretty steep a few times too. Not sure if the shape of the rainbow would help or hurt.

Idk, I think you're better off just going with pvc and saving your loot.

If you;re going to spend money on hdpe you should have roper coping which will be tough with it being a bent rail. Kinks are eays bends not so much.

I already have the hdpe, and it's a tube not a sheet. I got it for $4 at habitat for humanity. Would I still need coping?

nah youre fine. the problem with it on boxes is you have that 90d edge. when you slide part of your skis hangsnoff especially if you come on at an angle or grip tbe rail.even then its not that bad for backyard stuff but whatever.

if it's round youre good

If there's a habitat for humanity restore near you I would definitely check that out, I got like 40 feet of pvc for 5 bucks the same day, it's like the goodwill of building supplies
