Putin blows up plane to kill Prigozhin

In an effort to be even more of a meme, Putin has apparently just gone and blown up a whole-ass plane to get his Wagner Group rival killed.

They haven't confirmed that he was actually on the plane, only that he was on the passenger list. The Reuters news agency released video said to be of the plane falling. It includes the voice of an eyewitness saying they heard "two explosions" before the crash.

I'm still gonna wait this out. After the funky end result of the coup/mutiny I am not entirely sure that this exactly what it looks like. Still the evidence seems to point to the head of Wagner getting cut off.

I think the most interesting thing will be how this effects Wagner's actions in the Middle East/ Africa. Now, with no leadership will the Russian MOD fully absorb Wagner? Will there just be thousands of mercs running amuck? Will be interesting to see.

The Russian economy seems to be really be feeling the effects of sanctions now, Ukrainian drone strikes in Moscow and in ports around the Above/Black sea...the pressure continues to build for Putin and there do not seem to be any off ramps.

That's what I was thinking. I could honestly see him putting himself on the flightlist to test out the waters or fake death? It doesn't make sense to fly back to a country that wants you dead and has a knack for both shooting down planes and killing rivals

Don't even front dude.. you know Putin prison shanked this guy to get him out of the way.

The Russians are pretty screwed at this point with the Ruble tanking. Theres a chance they sold a bunch of it when it peaked out recently in order to restock their coffers with foreign currency, but now theyll see imports get crazy pricy. The gopniks will be pissed off when they see how expensive adidas tracksuits are becoming.

The Times mentioned that many people have changed their name to his in order to create confusion about his whereabouts. Could be him, or could be a double of sorts. Either way this is wild how deliberate it is.
