Push named "movie of the year"

What he means is film itself has enough detail to be mastered to HD (720/1080 resolutions). Of course for this to happen you need to master in that resolution to an HD-DVD/Blu-Ray format, of which no current ski movies have done.

The only HD footage of freeskiing I've seen is ABC's coverage of Ski Tour stop #1 and it was great.
 
Push was good, I felt the intro was kind of irrelevant. Riding was good, but msp just doesn't have the same caliber since Morrison left. Also I think the whole 3d block lettering was done best(if not first) by robot food.
 
im not even going to get into this debate. its the same fucking shit every year. MSP makes a shitty movie, Powder gives them movie of the year.

 
i really enjoyed watching push. I thought that the music synced well with most parts and got me juiced to ski each time I watched it. Some of the more artistic shots were shockingly good. I thought that every section was solid.
 
I really liked ski porn, I'm yet to see Show and Prove though. I was put off from tanner's film stuff since wski106, but i wanna see this one because of the whole CR thing making the crew push hard to keep it together.
 
push does not forfill. too bad this the pinnicle of what the skiing world sees. if i showed push to any snowboarders they would fall asleep, wake up and ask, "is it over yet."

once again you call yourself newschoolers, but there are no street rails, no nines in the bc, no sw7s in the bc, no bombdrops, horrible music, and so on....really progressive and newschoolerish. ya right.

hit list was the worst of last year, and push was barely a step above. this is the best film for you; no wonder so many of you kids worship snowboard films more than ski films. demand more, don't settle for films like push. by the way, berman's film wasn't even nominated. your powder awards are a hoax, don't be fooled by the "film of the year," oh wait, you already are.
