Purgatory for all mountain?

just got accepted to Fort Lewis college in Durango, what’s the terrain like at purgatory? I seems like they have good parks but at the moment I’m more into all mountain. From pictures it doesn’t look very steep, will I just have to become a park rat?

Alpine Meadows and Squaw, I'm not expecting anything like that

Purg's small but silverton is right down the road and Telluride's a couple hours away.

Wolfcreek is going to be your closest "steep" Mountain resort. I went there alot as a kid and a few times in College and if I remember right they dont even have a park.
