Punx vs ar6

I'm planning to buy skis for next year and have narrowed it down to these two. I ski 100% park. Which would you recommend? I like a ski with a lot of pop and that is durable. Thanks
 
i love my ar6s, so i'll recommend those but you should really get out of the park. park 100% of the time? thats just dumb.
 
I live in Minnesota so runs on a 500 foot hill get boring after a while. I know what you mean though because I'm in big sky right now and the runs are awesome
 
Well, They are both very good park skis. The AR6's aren't symmetrical, but their tip is soft and buttery with a stiffer tail to stomp tricks on bigger jumps, and they have a 2.5 Impact Edge. Armada is known for having some of the best skis, but I haven't heard any complaints on the Punx. The Punx are symmetrical, so they would be better for rails and boxes while having something a little softer to land backseat on. They both have medium flex I believe, and it isn't too big of a difference, or so I hear from my friends. I think the Punx will have better pop, but the AR6's will hold up better over a longer period of time.
 
Ive had both skis and id say the punx. Slightly softer then the ar-6's. Super durable ive had mine for almost 2 season riding them hard and theres nothing wrong with them. punx have way more pop.

 
i have had atomics before and they are might favorite ski company they are super durable and when they make a park ski they always do a damn good job at it. also Ar6's arent durable and are a little bit stiffer
 
yeah i love mine i still ride them and i have 2 other pairs of skis and id rather ride my punxs. Ar-6s chip like no other.
 
I've had 2 pair of Punx's and I absolutely love them. The pop in the ski is perfect, loose for jibs and presses but stiff in the big jumps. I love the lightness, railgame and switchups without any worries. They have held up pretty good for me. Got like 65 ski days on them this year. So sick. But no matter which of these skis you choose, you choose a great ski from a great company.
 
The punx will give you alot of pop and apparently shred jumps but i have never seen s ski more durable then the Ar6. Ive had my ar6s for two season and they have taken soooo many beating and still are a real solid ride
 
Hahaha did you just say that AR6's are not durable. Armada skis are easily in the top 3 ski companies in terms durability. Ya they ship but who the fuck cares as long as the rest of the ski is in perfect condition!And to the OP, you can really go with any of these skis cause they are both great park skis.
 
So when you say the AR6's aren't durable, you mean topsheet chipping, right? Because Armada is known for its durability and all around great skis. Topsheet chipping is merely cosmetic and doesn't effect the way the ski rides.
 
Go with the AR6's. They are solid, poppy, and have some of the best functionality in opinion. They won't question you taking them of jumps, rails, or urban stuff.
