I have the 06/07 ARVs as my park ski, and I ski in VT. I enjoy them for what they do, but I find myself wishing I had a stiffer ski. Too often, I wash out in the trees due to the soft flex.
That being said, I have heard they have made the ARV significantly stiffer since my year. I'd say you could go 175 ARV and be fine, you might be able to pull off 185 if you feel comfortable enough in the trees.
