Pulse Proflex Boot Mod

They work pretty well yeah. They add maybe 10 to the flex depending how soft the lower shell is. I think they make more sense in Alpine boots as they do restrict the ROM of the cuff but I used them in some Proto Dispatch boots and they improved the skiing for sure.

If you do have them in for touring make sure you really Loctite and tighten the instep buckle rack screw as they can come lose easily when touring.
 
The best skier I know skis on 150flex fischer race boots with these and a 16 din.

They still aren’t stiff enough for him but he did say they made some sort of difference.
