Pulled over doing 68 in a 35

a friends mom was in a wheel chair for almost a year because she got hit crossing a crosswalk by some old lady who just didnt know what the fuck she was doing, she was only going like 15-20.

i know of probably 5 kids under 25 in my town that have died as a result of drunk driving or being a passenger of a drunk driver. one guy just a couple months ago killed two pedestrians and badly injured one more because he was drunk driving.

and there are tons of people that have been in accidents at my school as a result of just not paying attention and not knowing how to control a car, one girl hit a house because she had a bunch of friends in the car and got distracted, supposidly she was going the speed limit also.

i know of only one crash in the last year that was definatly a result of speeding, and thats because he was running from the cops going like 100 in a 40.

just saying that way more people get in accidents as a result of not paying attention, drunk driving or not knowing how to control a car. statistics even show that only 12 percent of accidents are a result of speeding.

I got pulled over twice over the course of 15 minutes on route 4 in Vermont. First time 47 in 35, second time 43 in 35 (which suddenly changed to a 25). The first time the guy ran my license but no written warning or anything. Second time all the guy did was talk to me and look at my license, so nothing really happened.

And the 2nd cop knew I had just gotten pulled over, first line "Didn't you just get pulled over 10 minutes ago?" I had no way of explaining that one.

And if I get a ticket as a Mass teen I would lose my license for 6 months.

Dude i live in CT, got pulled over going 68 in a 45, the cop gave me a court date and i ended up pleading not guilty because of some stuff people told me. It worked and basically i got off with a 100$ fine, no license suspension or anything.

Yeah, I got pulled over on route 100 in VT. I got a pretty bad ticket and 2 points on my license. But since I wasn't in the state that I'm licensed in (NY). I didn't get the points, just had to pay the ticket. But the cop was a really big ass hole and made comments about how I was too young to be driving a nice car and stuff.

Damn that sucks, the cops I encountered were pretty chill, and basically just made sure I wasn't drinking (1130 on a saturday night) and told me to be more careful and drive slow.

Lucky you. Mine was around 12pm and I was in a rush to get to tennis. haha. But he started being an ass before he even asked for my license. It wasn't cool at all.

This past weekend I BLEW through a speedtrap on the highway and didn't get pulled over. There were even two cops on each side of the highway.

How fast was I going you ask?

89 in a 55. I got sooo lucky. Definitely considering it again before I go 9mph over the "flow" of traffic.

pretty lucky...but i can see that happening a lot of first time speeding is dropped. though im still kinda shocked because it was 30+

i went 550 in a 25.

and the cop let me off with a verbal warning. Didn't even go on my permanent record.

Oh and i was going in reverse while drunk and in oncoming traffic.

true story.

this is one of those threads that has a bunch of pages and keeps getting bumped but i never looked at it...until now

Why the fuck were you going 70 in a 35? Who cares if it was straight for two miles, unless it was in the middle of no where (montana has some wack ass speed limits in the middle of no where like 35 or 45) then there is no excuse and i hope you get/got your license suspended.
