Hey guys,

so if your from the New Hampshire area you may remember or have heard of Garrison Hill. It's a dope little hill in Dover, NH that was turned into a sick rail park a few years ago. This it what is used to look like!

These pics are from a rail jam that was hosted there just after the park was built! This place is awesome, completely public and completely FREE. You can go there whenever you want and just shred rails, there are even two huge stacks of hay that we used to build jumps once the snow falls.
Anyway over the past few years there have been a handful of assholes who have gone and stolen most of these rails, probably sitting in someones backyard right now. All that remain are these three features.

Last week the town of Dover sent a crew to the hill to cut down all the brush and clear the area, bringing it to the way it used to look! It's now nice and flat with no more brush!
So now we have a dope hill and a few features! In a few weeks i'll be heading there with a group of locals and ANYONE ELSE WHO WANTS TO HELP to re-secure all of the rails/boxes back into the ground and hopefully put some new features in!
If you or anyone you know has old boxes or rails, or anything else to shred on let me know and if you want you should bring them hear and cement them into the ground to help make the ULTIMATE FREE PUBLIC TERRAIN PARK!
Once the snow falls, your left with a sick park with rails and boxes already set up and waiting to get hit, you cant beat this place! We've been here till 4 am shredding before!
So ya if anyone is interested in helping out let me know. We can use anything from new features to just a lending hand when we go in and cement all the new stuff in.
Don't forget, those who help overhaul this place get first dibs on hitting it!

That's sick dude! If I was in the area I'd be down... awesome thing to have. Super negative karma for those stealing rails and shit. Good luck keeping the place kept up! Hopefully everyone will start to respect it and leave shit be.

this isn't my backyard either!! i'm not trying to scam people into giving me there shit haha. This has been and is approved by the town of Dover and has insurance and all that good shit. They just gave me and my friends to job of overhauling it for them!

YESSSSSSSSSS I fucking love Garrison Hill, so much fun on snowdays when everyone is there

the pics don't work, so is the large yellow DFD rail still there? Or is that one of the stolen jibs :(

My names Colin and live in concord. built a 10' by 4'' PVC rail if that would interest you and im willing to build more if this is legitement you know. cus shit i had a 20' up flat down box that was taken out of my yard and dont wanna deal with that anymore.

SKI THE EAST

Worrd. Thats sweet, this is right next to my Aunt and grandparents house. Ill be up that way for thanksgiving, let me know if you need any more help

YES YES AND MORE YES, this is so ill, i got family that lives in Dover, so this is defenitaly a sick idea.

What s gonna be set up here, i saw all the pictures but will other stuff be comnig in and if you need any help please send a pm to this guy.

if this happens over my thanksgiving break ill be there, my mom grew up and learned to ski at garson hill back in the day,
there use to be so many small local areas like garson in nh, they all shut down, lets try to keep one alive

They have a similar thing set up at the forks in Winnipeg during the winter, it's pretty cool. If I can find pics, I'll get some.

a little far just to make a drive down but i might after going to loon or something one of these days

that place looks really fun! i could imagine sick sessions going late into the night there...it's like a public outdoor skatepark but for skiing and snowboarding

So lucky to have this... wish my city would do this we got a hill with a t-bar that still works, but it sits dormant.

Alright If you do it over thanksgiving break I am totally down. However, I won't be back in the area till Jan. 5. I will definately be on board to help during those times. + maybe 1 or 2 rails to contributes.

I live in Hampton, and I'm stoked this is making a comeback.

A couple years ago, my friends and I made a trip there on a snowday or something. It was ok, but that's because there weren't many features and it was in pretty bad disrepair. It's so sick that you guys cleaned it up, if it stays maintained, I might be there like every weekend.

This might be my solution to skiing at wildcat and surviving without a park.

ya its all cleaned up now!

we are gonna take the features that are still there and re-cement them into the ground, that way they are always ready to go.. just looking for some more features!

if you got features send a pic, we can get them to dover and make the park way better.

I live like 25 minutes away in Exeter, but I've only got extra PVC rails. Would you guys want a couple just as extra features? That's all I really have to donate. Awesome that it's getting re-done though, I'll have to come up there once it starts snowing.

damn thats hella legit. i wish we had one in seattle

or if we consistantly got snow in seattle for that matter...

I've lived 20 minutes from dover for 5 years and never heard of this place. sounds sick and i'm down to help out. Have a couple friends that could help too.

wow sounds so cool. you should see if you could get a ew hunded dollars of town money to invest in some features. do you guys have lights?

We need more of these everywhere. This is great to promote freeskiing. If communities can build a skatepark if awesome cement features and really nice staircases, this should be a piece of cake. All you need is a hill, some rails and features (as simple as old barrels and other junkyard stuff) and some cement so it's anti-douche. Creativity is the cherry on the sundae.

glad a lot of you are pumped about it!! if you want to help out send me a PM, or even better if you have facebook join the group on there. Thats the easiest way for me to contact everyone at once so we can find a weekend everyone is available to put the new features in!
the FB group ishttp://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=164050976945696
If you have rails you want to donate, send me a pic or a PM! the ovc rails are nice but after a while they can break if we have people hitting them all day every day.
thanks for all the help everyone!

dam thats a great idea.

f*ck anyone who ruins the fun by stealing sh*t

i need to get one of these goin on Long Island, nothing else here

Can't find any. Have to wait until they set it up.

I do know it has a C-box, a DFD box rail, 15ft. straight rail, and this pitiful little box.

found a dope 12ft dance floor to add to the feature! heading to a metal scrapyard in portsmouth tomorrow to scout for handrails and more features!!!!

should be another week or so before we go in and concrete the rails down!
