Im looking for skis for the 0809 season. Ill basically be skiing in the east mostly park with the exeption of some day of maybe a foot of snow and then ill be heading out to snowbird for a week or two and would wonderin if the pes would be a good choice and if not then wat.

i had pe's from 06/07 and i didnt really like them, they were kinda stiff for my liking.

the pe's are a really good ski for park but can still handle the every so oftten pow day. But last years wasnt the best year for them. If you can get a fair deal on them i would go for it just watch out for the lamenate peeling.

I think they would be good for what you are doing, a bit on the heavier side as a park ski, but overall construction is very durable the ones from last year and the year before have a really bad topsheet for chipping, it is soft as butter and just gets slashed off by edges and anything it comes in contact with. They will do the occasional powder day pretty well and make a solid every day park ski that will probably last a while. Mounted at about +5.5 from recommended is good for all mountain, powder and can handle park fine. They are not a very soft ski, but if you are heavier you shouldn't have much problem. Flex in the tips is a little softer than the tails.
