on these forums the only thing ive heard about the new pe's(05/06) is that they are bad, so if u have anything good to say about them or would recomend them as a solid park ski please do so, otherwise i guess they really do suck and i wont get them

I've only heard good things, but they're stiff, so not your average park ski. Just wait for vicious to give you the low down.

are you joking? i've heard nothing but good stuff about it. it's stiffer and fatter, therefore better for doing everything. ptex topsheet = badass. they got rid of the die-cut base (or so i've been told) and replaced it with hopefully a better one. it's got pretty fat edges. all in all, it's one of the best all mtn do everything skis available

you definitely shouldn't believe everything you read on here. in fact, you shouldn't believe most of what you read on here. a large amount of people give reviews of skis they have never ridden. it's a domino effect: one person says one bad thing about a ski (or other piece of equipment) and several other people take that info to heart and start telling others the same thing with nothing to back it up.

i've had a pair of the 05/06 pe's since sometime in january and really enjoyed them. it's a great park ski. it's also a great all-mtn ski. definitely the best pe as of yet in my opinion. my only complaint is that it's not available in a bigger size...that's the only reason i'm selling mine.

^i think you and JD are some of the few people that give real information. im glad we have people like you, thanks.

i rock the pow like none other

it's heavier, but if the weight of the pe is too much for you, i'd say quit skiing now. i ski made'ns in the park, which are waaaay heavier than any of those you listed. the pe's are a sick park/all mtn ski. and regardless of what anybody says, they aren't that heavy.

anyone who complains about skis like the pe being heavy need to go do a few leg workouts and suck it up.

get the new pe's...you won't regret it!

im just gonna give an educated guess and say that the weight of those 3 from lightest to heaviest goes invader, fujative, PE

Jeepers Creepers, where'd you get the neat sneakers?!?!

I wouldn't say they suck by any means. They are a bit different than previous years and I found the 05/06 PE to have a smaller sweet spot than previous years but they were still a great ski.

I only got to ride my 05/06 PE's a couple times and went to a 179 from 169 and have them mounted with Marker 1800's (so they're even heavier) and since I only had a couple times on them, I wouldn't say I had them dialed in, but they still skied very well. They are definately wider and a bit stiffer than previous models and I honestly thought they seemed more at home in the park than older models.

life is too short to have any regrets
