Fuck you guys, that kid is a fucking asshole. I would have reacted the same exact way. It's one thing if you skate on some sidewalk or ledges, but its another when you are fucking up plants and shit someone paid to have planted and trimmed all the same way. He was just asking for trouble, I fucking hate when people come and damage my shit, I bet you would too.
 
The kid didn't say or do a single thing that would lead me to think of him as an asshole. In my opinion he acted maturely, as he should have. There are definitely a lot of skaters who might not have handled that so well. He seemed to recognize that he shouldn't have done it and offered to pay the guy for the bush. That should have been the end of it but that dude was over the top.
 
couldn't watch the whole thing with sound in class but yeah seems like I would side with you. Plants are expensive as shit to keep up with. If you are damaging someones property like that then the person has the right to flip on you.
 
To me it looked like he got scared of the guy and tried to pay for it or fix it. Had that owner not showed up he definitely wouldn't have fixed the bush. I might not have lost my shit like that guy, but I definitely would have been mad and wanted the cops involved.

I'm the same age as him and kids like that make me look untrustworthy.
 
agreed the kid didn't try to run or act like an asshole, he was more than willing to pay for the damages but that guy went way over board, a bush is no reason to lose your cool to that extent, i was really surprised the skater didn't hit him, if somebody was in my face that intensely it would be hard for me to keep my cool
 
probably 10 or 12 years ago i was riding bmx with some older kids in town. i was only 10 or 12 when it happened and a fucking hardware store owner pulled a hammer out on one of the older high school kids i was riding with because we were riding in front of his store. shit was fucked. the guy connected one swing to the kids shoulder and the kid K.O.'d him by swinging a backpack with two 2 liter cokes bottles in it.
 
why can't people just respect other's property and leave it alone? skateboard or not, it's disrespectful to fuck with people's shit.
and i would have flipped shit too....i don't fuck with people's shit so they shouldn't fuck with mine
