PSA: CBC Olympic Coverage in the USA

After this morning's embarrassing performance by NBC with commentators who really know nothing about what they're doing, American viewers probably want to switch feeds. Well, some of you can!

Note: the CBC coverage didn't know what a switch up was, but it was still obviously better than NBC. Also good for other events - almost 100% of the games are broadcast live on the online feed if you can get access to that.
 
Daras run was obviously deserving of first by miles. Such bullshit that Kim got put behind Devin though, her rail section was ridiculously tight (only girl to spin onto rails) and she did by far the most stylish and creative jump trick that not a single other girl in that contest would even think of trying off that jump in those conditions.

Anyways the whole calling a switchup a flatspin was pretty annoying but CBC is doing a really good job at giving us access to any event any time we want online.
 
USE A PROXY. A canadian based proxy will let you view it allll day. Fuck NBC's shit announcer they pulled out of a bar in Wales, while the Canadian's aren't perfect, they can name spins and grabs for the most part.

Kind of blows that NBC is clearly not taking freeskiing seriously though.
 
Just watched SNB PIPE finals and the CBC stream announcing was really good. I'm pretty satisfied with what they've put on air so far.
 
I wish Craig McMorris was doing the ski commentating too. He's been really really good for snowboarding.

CBC rocks! Stop the cuts harper...
 
Yea I'm super impressed with CBCs Olympic coverage. Live streaming of all events online, then you can watch the entirety of all events after it's already happened. Really great stuff. Commentators for some streamed events are kinda crappy, but in all it really is top notch. So glad CTV didn't hold onto the rights.
