PS3 or 360?

Im just curious to see how many ppl would choose PS3 (which is the better system) over 360? and how many ppl actually own a ps3 and or xbox? I myself dont like my shit to break while using so i went with the PS3 which i have had 0 problems with and its been over a year!
 
when i bought my console i was buying a it strictly to play cod4, and xbox360 has a better controller.

i think ps3 is for movie stars and other people that just need to have a console but aren't really gamers.
 
ps3 bcuz no monthly fee, but they are changing it now so ps3 users are gonna b paying too, i regret my decisions
 
you really like the xbox controllers better?? the ps3 controllers are so much more like simple and there are less buttons which i like
 
There's exactly the same amount of buttons on both controllers.

A=X

X=Square

B=Circle

Y=Triangle

LB and RB = R1 and L1

RT and LT = R2 and L2

Back and Start = Select and Start

Xbox button = PS button

Two analog sticks, one d-pad on both.
 
I like 360 better, you're paying for much more online functions, this has been discussed so many times. They both have their +'s and -'s, it's just a matter of personal preference.
 
I never had the original Xbox, so I'm not sure what buttons you're talking about, but my 360 controller doesn't have any black and white buttons.
 
even the origional xbox had the same amount of buttons... black and white replaced lb and rb(r1 and l1)so theres no argument there
 
I have both and I have to say for actual gaming, I pretty much exclusively use the 360. I like xbox live much more than the PS3 online and the controller just feels a lot more natural. the concave in the joysticks especially, I find my thumbs always shooting of the PS3 joysticks. The PS3 is pretty much just used for blu-ray's. I really only bought it because I was in the market for a blu-ray player and at the time, the PS3 was the same price as a basic blu-ray player, so why not?
 
id go with xbox 360 cuz its cheaper, better game selection, halo, better comunity, and if u have any friends who play live, its on xbox 360 not PS3. both are good tho i guess
 
yeah i have both, use the PS3 for movies and other media / etc. plus the online browser is decent, pandora and gnarshmallow on my 55" tv ? so sick. as for games... FPS and the like i go with the 360 (halo pretty much) but i do enjoy me some FIFA on the PS3. oh and Little Big Planet is the most rediculously fun game to play when drinking.
 
fuck 360 and microsoft, i got my ps3 and its the best system out there. my friend has a 360 and ahs had ntohing but problems with it. And my pther friend who has his launch ps3 and not a single problem. the ps3 failure rate is about .2%, and the 360 is somewhere around 30%. So i got my ps3 for the free online, and better graphics. anyone tht wants to play some nazi zombies let me know my name is twin-tip-hero
 
i think that the 360 gameplay is alot smoother then the ps3. if u dont believe me u havent played skate on the ps3
 
yeah man. ps controllers dont fit in my hand at all and the sticks are waaay too sensitive for me. maybe if i was better with it id love to learn the higher sensitivity but i hate it at this point
 
haha its the only game i played jeeze. but seriously i love skate, along with 90% of ns that plays video games and it doesnt compare
 
i have a ps3 but the 360 has much nicer live and online play. i got the ps3 because i've always used playstation and i don't want my console to be getting fixed more than played. i think they both have their pluses and minuses. overall i'd say the ps3 is better, if only it got the sick exclusive games like xbox does. oh well it's getting some decent games now anyways.
 
I own both

love the PS3 the most though because I'm a hardcore (collector hardcore) Metal Gear Solid fan.. also the Uncharted franchise is pretty cool, and the God Of War franchise. Not to mention that Assassins Creed plays better on PS3..

but I only really play Skate 2 on it..

on Xbox I play Fable 2... its cool.
 
I have a ps3 and all i use it for is racing games and watching movies, FPS suck on stupid consoles they just suck so bad. That's why I have a pc. If consoles ever start using drivers for mouse and keyboard I may go pure console because companies like IW are a bunch of cock gobblers and don't care about pc gaming anyways and make us play like were using a citty console anyways.
 
360. the ps3 may have a better system in terms of mechanics but the social part of xbox is x10000
 
Xbox 360 forsure...way better market place..better games. better controller. the online isnt free like on ps3, but its only 50 bucks a year and the online play is ultimitely better. 90% of the gamers i know play 360 and so do I.
 
I'm a fan of xbox. I bought the 1st gen xbox when if first came out. Didn't have any problems with it. Then once the 360 was released I bought one and haven't had any problems with it yet (I had it since they were 1st released.) For me it just made sense. I can play all my old games. I had live from the 1st xbox so all I had to do was transfer my gamertag. All my friends have a 360 and live so it would be stupid for me to switch to a ps3.
 
I have a PS3 but I enjoy generally not the games everyone on this site are talking about all the time. Xbox definitely has a much larger selection of good shooters to choose from: the CoD series (ps3 has this), Gears, and Halo to name a few. PS3 gets CoD and Killzone and Resistance... and Killzone comes out like once every 4 years and I have no idea if another one is coming. PS3 does get two exclusive games in Uncharted 2 and the Metal Gear Solid series. Ultimately, they both get pretty big games, but are you more of a shooter fan, or a adventure/stealth type game fan? If shooter, get the 360... otherwise, the PS3 ain't too bad because of all the OTHER stuff you can do with it outside of games.
 
My 360 got the red ring after like 2 years of having it. Even then i got it back in 2 weeks. I think its much more important to have a console like the 360 with a great online set up, extremely smooth gameplay, and a wider variety of popular games (halo) even if it might break once in a two year span. Even when that happens xbox will warranty it and you will be playing again within the month. Most people i know can easily go a few weeks without video games. No hate on the PS3 though.
 
I've had my 360 since launch and had not a single problem with it (knock on wood). I love it a whole llot more than ps3. Better game selection and such.

this happens to everyones, not gettin a system but if i did id get a ps3
it also does more stuff like web browser and play blu rays
 
My roommate has a PS3 and I like it. It's nice not having to pay to play online content like for COD 4. The disc drive did go out of his and we had to replace it last year it wasn't to hard to do but there not invincible. I like that it doubles as a blu ray player and that we run Pandora off of it.
 
Happened to my roomates xbox Yesterday, E74 is very common,,

go with PS3, free online. Halo sucks anyways (not really)
