which one should i get? PS2 or XBox? i have my old sega saturn to ebay and need to find which system would be the best choice for me.

depends. if you want a big base of games go with the ps2. if you want better graphics and more new games in the future get the xbox

Having played both and knowing whats about to happen in the future. Get XBOX!! It's simply the best deal and the best system.

As we speak Johnny Decesare is working with a video game development company for the best skiing game yet and it's going to be on XBOX. And guess what, ESPN is going to do it. It's going to be one helluva game!

yeah I'll be pissed if it doesnt come out for ps2...but its espn so I'm assuming it will because all of their other games are on ps2

I dunno it might be coming to PS2 but johnny said it was just Xbox for now. I think microsoft is going to publish one as well so I dunno who the developer will be. Looks like skiing is getting huge.

 
Dude if you had any mind you would get X-box....faster smarter better graphics....you can record your own music on it and listen to it whlie you play your games....ps2 has more games becasue its been out longer but x-box is waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyy better trust me...my friend has both..

Dude, X-Box. the possiblities for that thing is incredable. Just be paitent and wait for GTA3 to come out for it. Hell, dude, There's Halo (just some of the reviews for this game), Max Payne, Amped, etc. Tony Hawks 3 coming out too.

Get the X-Box.

Definitely X-Box. Halo has no peers as far as multiplayer games go, and the sport games on PS2 aren't as good as X-box.

 
i was just playing halo over cable modem and amped and it looks like real life, while listening to nickelback off the hard drive. xbox kicks the ps2's ass

X-Box hs had some srious problems tho. Overheating and stuff have been numerous. I'd go with PS2 for those reasons.

I think Xbox is better, but just because ps2 has more games their pretty comprable...Xbox has like 2 out of my 5 favorite games tho, Amped and Halo

I have ps2, its pretty fuckin sweet, but xbox looks real promising. I got ps2 because of their developers and game base.

Jonny decare workin on a skiing game!?!? Thats fuckin sweet, he has such talent and vision, I dont care what anyone says, that game is gonna rule.

ps2.... my friend has both ps2 and xbox, and i have a ps2, and i like ps2 alot better than xbox, so does he

definatly X-Box, its way the hell better. maybe it does'nt ahve as many games as ps2 but all the games are unique and better. IMO all the games in a particular genre for sony systems are all the same. X-Box has a broadband adapter and hard drive built into it. you have to nuy them as upgrades for the ps2. since the broadband adapter comming out for ps2 is'nt integrated developers wont be able to get as much out of it. if you only got an X-Box with Halo and DOA3 you would be set for a while in gaming goodness. no game that will ever come out for ps2 will be better than those games. GTA3 is nothing compared to Halo. the ps2's dvd playback capability is laughable. out-dated hardware, out-dated software. people that are sony fans are just lemmings. im a hard-core gamer trust me when i say sony is not a company to be buying gaming systems from. make yourself a happy person and get thge X-Box.

Definatly X-Box, it's so much better, it's way quieter, the hardrive is the bomb, ripping song is soo nice, the upcoming games are going to rock, and as for the problems... I havent had one with mine at all, Over heating? never happens to me and I forget to turn it off all the time, I've played both and I'd say X-box is the better system out their right now, (oh and the controllers aren't that big and are actually quite easy to get used too).

 
if i were you i would get a PS2, mainly because of all of the sweet games it has, state of emergency, gta3 and others. i like amped on the xbox, probably the best snowboarding game out there, and one of my friends has halo and says it kicks ass. its a toss-up. maybe you should just get both. late

 
Do u guys know how fucking badass it is to play HALO with like 16 people and 4 xboxes on like 4 tvs...holy shit its crazy...so badass, and Amped is like the dopest game ever...JMMT is so gay, amped is the shit...real mtns and realistic tricks...U can't do like triple mistys and have to eat mosely cookies....Xbox is sweet

X box would be a lot better if it wasnt bigger than a VCR, and if the controllers where smaller.

Xbox just signed a contract with a company called Fonix, they are a voice-recognition software company. They said that they would eventually make games that you talk to and stuff, way cool.

 
sounds like you need a gamecube. For my hands the controllers were absolutely perfect. I'm a bit bigger than most 12 year olds, since I'm 18, and I think the xbox xontroller is the best out there after you get used to it. I remember having to get used to playstations controller too.

And as for people saying ps2 has better games or more games. Thats the most rediculous arguement ever. The games that are out for xbox are of way higher quality and xbox has not been out as long as ps2 so how can a comparison be made??

X-BOX!! two of my friends have xbox's and when you hook the two together on two seperate tv's, halo is the frickin tightest game ever. * player free for all w/ the best graphics can't be beat. and most game developers are starting to flock to xbox due to it's superior hardware. I'm gettin one as soon as i get money.
