Rules: Contest holder can't be voted winner as to make it fair for everyone. Contest holder is winner of previous round and I say we give 7 days for entry and give an extra 2 days after the seven for voting as to give everyone who entered last minute to get more votes. Anyone can up vote on any entry, and as many different entries as they want. Whichever entry ends up with most up votes wins.

Any way here is the photo to start the Photoshop War 50 ball rolling. (Actually looked back and found out this was the next war in numerical order. Kinda worked out perfect it was a fully even "50th anniversary edition" PS War.)

Youre supposed to edit the provided photo not just throw up your own.. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS

Oh, and moving to NSG would really help IMO

OP didn't really give any instructions, so maybe some clarification was needed...

are the pictures supposed to be edited with anything in particular? or anything goes?

Le skiing described it in a separate thread "(for anyone who has never heard of what a photoshop war was)

The rules were that the winner chose the photo for the contest, and anyone can only make one entry for the contest. Users would take the photo chosen and manipulate it in the way they see fit, and whichever photo was chosen by the person who chose the photo for the contest would win. I think we could change it to most up votes wins though, to keep things fair."

yah, my bad.

On the rules it is whoever wins this will basically get the ball rolling for the rest of the Photoshop wars. I have made the rules bold so it will be easier for the winner to post the rules in the next thread.

The way it works is whoever wins this gets to decide what photo everyone who wants to enter the next contest will be working with. For now though the photo that is in the thread description is the contest photo everyone has to work with. You can use other photos to help manipulate this in any way, but the final product should have some resemblance to this photo. To expand further on that I mean you can take a portion of this photo and paste it on another photo, but people should be able to tell that you used this photo in the final piece. It doesn't have to be skiing related, and there are no themes except what is set by the original photograph and the power of your imagination. The people choosing the photo should keep in mind that there will be quite a number of people working on this so try and keep that in mind when choosing a photo.

Contest will run 7 days for entries and voting with an extra 48 hours(or so) for just voting. At the end of that the winner will be announced in the thread and they should start the next thread whenever they get a chance to find a photo and create the next thread. The same person can't win twice so if someone wants to enter their own contest their up votes don't count for the contest.

I hope that is easy to understand and I also hope I covered everything. If anyone still has any questions I can try and reiterate it.

Also, I'm going to probably do an entry on this too. As I stated in the rules I won't be able to win, but I just like doing stuff in photoshop and I miss photoshop wars.
 
figured I'd wait until the next round to join in, but most of these look like a bunch of shit 14 year olds threw into MS paint. pretty disappointed actually..
