Proudest moment in your gaming history

So it's finals week. Like usual, my mind is wandering everywhere but school. Last night I was remembering moments of my 13 year long history of gaming. One of the moments that stood out the most was a huge world PvP battle in WoW.

At the time, I had a BG9 gladiator shadow priest. Although the gladiator rank was achieved by my brother, I still was very skilled in PvP. Anyways, every day I would go to Orgrimmar and harass the horde outside of the gate. It usually ended in one horde running back into the city and requesting help which resulted in a small army coming to kill me. However, one day I decided to form a group of ONLY gladiators. All in all, I had around 25ish gladiators in my raid and we ventured to the gates of Orgimmar and absolutely slaughtered everyone there.

Many of the gladiators in the raid wanted to go into the city, so we took a vote and decided we would enter the city of Orgimmar. Once inside we massacred everything. At one point their was no resistance at all and we could venture around Orgimmar freely, it was quite fun. Sadly, eventually we had to retreat to the auction house and holdup in there for awhile. Imagine 25 some of the most elite PvPers, held up in a 10x10 room. Anything that entered was instantly killed. Wave after wave of horde tried to kill us, but inevitably failed. Finally after 15 minutes the horde slowly started killing our healers out and we were conquered :(. Luckily, it was a raid so we had a rogue stealth to a nearby position in Ogrimmar and use the raid spell: mass resurrection and we all flew back outside the gates of Orgrimmar.

Then we regrouped back outside the gates of Orgrimmar and literally 100+ horde had followed. Yet no one attacked each other. For a good minute or so their was a wall of horde with the city of Orgimmar at their back facing 25 BG9 gladiators. Periodically lone hordies would try to attack us, but were killed. About 2 minutes later with no warning, the wall of horde charged at us and a battle that looked like a scene right out of a movie ensued. We were able to kill nearly all of them, but since their graveyard was 50M from the battle they were able to wipe us, but only after 5 minutes of sweet horde massacring.

Anyways, I have another moment in WoW that comes really close to that one, but I don't feel like expanding on this wall of text anymore =p. SO WHAT WAS YOUR BEST/PROUDEST MOMENT IN GAMING HISTORY.

TLDR: Killed a lot of hordies

You wanna hurt me? Go right ahead if it makes you feel any better. I'm

an easy target. Yeah, you're right. I talk too much. I also listen too

much. Oh, I can be a cold-hearted cynic like you guys, but I don't like to

hurt people's feelings. But you think what you want about me. I'm not

changing. I like- I like me. My kids like me. My friends like me, 'cause

I'm the real article. What you see is what you get.

I flipped the board over in life because something shitty happened and I lost all my loot or something and got pissed.

dropping c4 on bros out of the little bird in bf3. Hitting a jet with an rpg. i dinked the same lvl 100 3 times after i got him to bail from his jet. he would have been better dying in his jet instead he got humilated over and over and over. bf3 allows you to do some crazy shit

I went 67-3 in a round of domination in black ops on nuke town. some long range billistic knife headshots and intentional ricochets with the tomahawk are my best cod moments.

so what youre saying is that you know youre a loser but youre too lazy to do anything about it?

loljk, do whatever makes you happy, but good luck reproducing.

my little brother just took second out of thirty-two in a Goldeneye 64 tournament two weekends ago, that's the 'proudest' I've ever been concerning video games.

I just copped a Gameshark that same weekend and unlocked Cradle/Statue Park for multiplayer in Goldeneye, which made me feel some pride in myself, as well.

your friends will poop themselves when you bust this out for the first time

Pokemon was amazing, I remember getting pokemon yellow with the pikachu gameboy for christmas one year, I was so stoked. Played it up until ruby and then stopped. Ruby was the best though, imo. Really nice graphically, no shitty pokemon like silver and gold, and some ridiculously hard to find pokemon.. I miss that game./nostalgia

I've claimed this before but w.e . My best moment was when I finally caught Tauros thus completing my Pokemon Red pokedex at 151.

In that game I also trained my Pidgeot (favorite Pokemon) and Mew to level 100 without any rare candies.

I'll keep that cartridge for the rest of my life.

and @ eastcoastsout... Your icon is amazing

That's solid. I never had the patience. I remember it was getting either 8 red coins or the 6 spots in the water spider level that had me hooked for a while. So annoying

I have a few:

-When I became Arch-Mage, the Grey Fox, Arena Champion, Listener and Master of the Fighters guild without cheats

-When I beat Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess in under 24 hours

This one time I was in an all day tournament of random events. You set up your team of 3 people, 2 guys and 1 girl, and play all these random weird sporting games in an effort to win Rec Fest. Each event calculates to points, if you beat your opponent, how badly you beat them, etc.

One of the games happened to be dodgeball.. It was 6 v 6 cause we paired with another team, a team who sucked. The game went in and it was 5v1, I was the 1. I managed to get the first guy out, dodge one, hit another. No balls on my side but I dodged 3 throws grabbed two, missed one hit one.

Now its 2v1, and I am fucking tired. Also the 3 pt line is in effect (we played on a basketball court, players can now travel across the entire court as long as they stay behind the opposing 3 pt line). I'm running around the court like a madman dodgeing throwing, eventually get one... 1v1, crowd going crazy, everyones freaking out. I slide to dodge the throw and hit him from the floor. VICTORY IS MINE!

We ended up winning the entire Rec Fest by 30 pts. Winning that dodgeball game gave us 50 pts. I won the tournament with my epic dodgeball game.

lolwait was I supposed to talk about video games?

a roommate of mine and myself tried beating the original mario in one sitting, no warp zones. 4 to 5 hours later we were at level 8-4, and were always one second off. needless to say, we went to bed and he beat it when he woke up first thing the next day.

i consider that an accomplishment...

Using my feral druid/hemo rogue/ fire mage to shit on players that were much higher rank than I was. I almost never played arenas (other than what was required for typical misc set pieces) so rolling high ranking shit talkers was always a great thing.

Playing Quake III Area, freeze tag + grapple mode and getting banned because people thought I was hacking with an aimbot. I did no such thing

Got 157 kills in a match of demolition on scrapyard in mw2. This rape also involved killing the whole team with 1 predator missile.

120 stars in mario64. Also used to be dirty at thps1. I beat every level on the 64 version got all tapes for each level in one run with the exception of San Fran which took two (pretty sure it's not possible in one). Took like 20 mins to beat the whole game, felt like a boss.

memorized all respawn points in goldeneye for n64 still know em to this day. I run that game. come at menuketown final kill tomahawk throw from one respawn point to the other
