title prettymuch sums it up but, i just tore mine(along with my meniscus) and i'm kinda worried i might not get back to 100%

thanks!

nick martini, hes back at it after being out all last winter with a blown knee.

also t hall has had his knees reconstructed plenty of times, and still kills it

tanner hall, 2 acls at the same time. back killing it.if you do your physical therapy, buy a bike, and take it easy for 6 months you will be fine.

I did mine last year and felt 100% this winter, going in to get my other one done tomorrow.

i tore my acl back in '06, long before all the superunknown shenanigans, so trust me man this isn't the end for you.

It's not very likely but a torn ACL can be the end of you skiing park. Beside many people getting them replaced nowadays and most of them making a full recovery, there still can be intricacies in surgery and rehab which can be persistent.

Personally I've had 2x ACL surgeries so far and I must say it never has been or never will be as it was before. Sometimes it just hurts, specially when the weather changes, when I make a bad twist or whatever...

Plus there is always the change of not overcoming the fear of re-injuring yourself.

There you go. A blown ACL is by no means a death sentence in skiing anymore. You can totally come back from it, the key it to listen to you doctors and PT's and do EVERYTHING they tell you to do. The better you are at sticking to your recovery regimen, the better the chances of a full recovery and the lower the likelihood of further injuries. Got those legs strong!

Tearing mine was the best thing that ever happened to my skiing - I was so much stronger and more motivated when I got back.

yea man no sweat, just do the rehab and get your strength back- you'll be skiin at 100 percent in no time.
