Pros Vs Joes

If any of you like skateboarding you have probably heard about pros vs joes @ Berries. If you have not heard of it, it is games of SKATE Pros Vs. Joes. pretty cool and sheds some light on other skaters besides the pros. Thinking SLVSH should do something along the lines of this. Would be interesting to see what happens.
 
I would love to see this! It would be cool if skiers could elect someone from their home mountain to go up against a specific pro that has a similar style
 
Slvsh kind of does this already. For example, their latest game - Ben Smith and Josh Kracher are both dope but are so far from "pro" status. When I hear pro skier, I think of Parker White, Jossi Wells, Tom Wallisch, Dollo, T-Hall, Gus, etc...

Slvsh has been having a lot of what I consider Am games. Would be interesting to see how some of these AMs would stack up against true pros. I suspect it wouldn't be very entertaining... LJ Sternio would probably beat Ben Smit 5 to 0 (no hate on Ben, he is a dope skier and I am just using that match of an example of a game between a true pro and an am).

i mean steve himself has said many times that he's sick of hearing of it. imagine constantly seeing posts on the internet about how shitty you are at something you're obviously really good at.

Fuck. Didn't realize that he had said that. Okay, well thats not funny then if it actually affects someone, but now that i think about it, that would be damn hard not to be affected by. Lapse of judgment. Sorry Steve. You are a pro.
 
Would be really fun ! I guess some Joes could be hungry enough to put the pressure on pros.
