Pros autographs

i think the concept of autographs is fucking retarded. i don't need someone's name written on something to show that i met them, my memory works just fine. i've seen plenty of pros, at windells for example, but the thought of asking them to sign something of mine never crossed my mind once. they're just normal people who love to do the same thing as me.
 
wait i lied, in 2000 there was a event called captain morgon's freestyle adventure which was some huge bumps and aerial comp and i have a shitload of the aerialists autographs on a poster.
 
I have this killer t-shirt with some LEGIT autographs on it. It's sad... But I'd be surprised if the majority of kids on here even know what 13 is...

nobody. I met some earopean pros at polish freeskiing open, but i don't treat them as some kind of stars. i don't need to proove that i've met them.
 
You know what... I definitely agree to an extent. I wouldn't ask too many pro skiers nowadays for autographs.... But then I remembered that I had that 13 shirt above and I'm stoked that McConkeys autograph is on it! The guys a fucking legend. Sure... Getting Dumonts autograph would be kind of gay in my opinion, but some autographs are pretty freakin sweet to have.
 
dumont is fucking legit. way to many haters. skiers shouldn't hate on skiers unless their complete assholes. Dumont is actually making our sport bigger.

If you're over 12 and still asking for autographs from ANYONE...you might want to consider moving into your parent's basement pronto, because guaranteed that's where you're ending up.
Unless of course you're getting the autograph of a professional athlete in hopes to sell that shit on e-bay. I suppose I can respect that from the hustle angle. But again, if you're getting autographs to "admire" it's just creepy.
 
I don't hate him. Just don't like him. I don't like the way he thinks he is. My friend was competing with him in london and all riders don't like him cause he's a jerk.
 
I was not hating on Dumont that was just an example. I have mad respect for what he does and how talented he is.... Insert any other young pros name into my post and my point is the same
 
I've got a bunch from when I used to race but I also have some from just being in whistler when I was younger

when i was 3 i got an autographed poster from jim tracy (Us womens race coach, and gold medalist)

When i was 7 i got an autographed poster from Micheal Klim ( australian Olympic swimmer)

this last week i saw hornbeck, and wallisch, amongst others, but im not 7 anymore,
